North Haven Fair 2026: Exhibitor Rules & Regulations

​​​Adult and Junior Exhibitors at the North Haven Fair
Note: All entries must be received by September 7, 2026

1. All articles exhibited must be the property of the exhibitor.

2. Please clearly label your item with the department, class number, and exhibitor’s name and address in a place where label cannot be seen while item is on display.

3. Enter online at www.northhaven-fair.com/fair-exhibitors.  Entries can also be mailed to: North Haven Fair Association, PO Box 14, North Haven, CT 06473 or dropped in the mailbox by the Blue Gatehouse at 290 Washington Ave, North Haven (exit 12 off I 91).

4. Please complete an online or official paper entry form with a list of the items you intend to exhibit. You may enter as many classes as you like; one item per class.

5. Age requirements:

   1. North Haven Fair:

      1. Adult departments: 19 years of age and older as of September 1st.

      2. Junior departments: 18 years of age and under as of September 1st.  All junior departments will be judged in two groups: ages 15 and under and ages 16 to 18.

   2. State Baking Contest

      1. Adult: Over 15 years of age as of July 1st.

      2. Junior: 7-15 years of age as of July 1st.

   3. State Quilt Contest

      1. Adult: Over 18 years of age at the time of judging

      2. Junior: 7 – 18 years of age at the time of judging

   4. State Photography

      1. Adult: 19 years of age and older as of July 1st.

      2. Junior: under 19 years of age as of July 1st.

6. The Fair Committee will use all diligence to ensure the safety of exhibits after arrival on the grounds but in no case shall the North Haven Fair Association, Inc., or any of its Officers, Superintendents, or Directors be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death by disease, theft, or from any other cause whatsoever to any property while same is on the Fairgrounds or at any other time or place.  The Management hereby assumes no responsibility for any property being brought and kept on the fairgrounds. If the property owners or others interested in the property desire protection against loss, or injury from fire or any other cause, they must make their own arrangements and pay for such insurance.

7. No person except the Exhibitor, Judge, Superintendent, or authorized fair personnel shall handle or interfere in any way with any item on exhibit without express permission of the exhibitor.

8. The decision of the Judges is final.

9. The North Haven Fair Association will not be responsible for any errors in printing.
